Main interest in Canadian Studies:
I think that my interest in Canadian studies is connected with my researches on the relation between media and the social construction of reality. In this field some Canadian scholars have made interesting contributions, regarding, on one side, the relations between journalists and their sources and the process of the production of news (the group of scientists from Laval University, Quebec) and, on the other side, the mechanisms of the creation of new meaning during the reception of mass communications commodities (especially the UQUAM researchers). I guess that in other Canadian universities or scientific institutions other approaches, closed to my field and to my methodological view, were developed. I think they can offer a challenging perspective and with wich I would like to be in contact, and that%u2019s why I enrolled my self in the Canadian Studies.
